The Chapman team has done a lot of traveling over the past few months with a lot more on the horizon. Over the past month we’ve been to upstate New York, Maryland, Michigan, and Wisconsin. While the Elite Series event didn’t go as planned in New York, we were able to film two more episodes of Pro vs. Joe in the area. The filming went great and I was able to share the boat with two great Joe challengers and learn a couple of new bodies of water.

In Maryland, on the Chesapeake Bay, I had a good Elite Series event on a very tough fishery. That event was a grind for everyone and I was happy to finish that event by making the final cut and finishing in 11th place.

On the way to St. Clair my family and I were invited to come to the Cequent Performance products headquarters for a visit. What an experience that was!  They really took great care of us, set up a lunch where I was able to meet the hard working employees that create, manufacturer, test, and distribute all their great products. Many of their products many of us fisherman use regularly.  You’ll recognize them under names like Fulton, Draw-Tite, Tekonsha, Aqua-Clear and many more. The funny thing is I went their to thank them for all their support, but I sure felt their thanks for all that we do for them throughout the year.

With the Elite Season concluded we have really shifted our focus to the Pro vs. Joe presented by Realtree filming and production. As I mentioned, we just filmed a couple shows in the Northeast. In the next few weeks, we will be filming across the Midwest. A little later this year we’ll be headed to the South and Southeast part of the country.  We are always on the lookout for good challengers on different bodies of water all over the country.  We’ve even started looking for lakes for next year which we will begin filming in January 2016.

Pro vs. Joe presented by Realtree update

Make sure you subscribe to so you don’t miss a single show!

Brent Chapman’s Pro vs. Joe presented by Realtree website is under construction now and will be launched on October 1, 2015 officially. The shows will become available starting the first week of November. One new show will be uploaded each week for 13-weeks. If you are out of town, don’t fret, you won’t even need to set your DVR because it will all be available for free online. You can even watch it at work, or on your phone while the kids watch Spongebob on your 60-inch.  One way or another, it’ll be easy to watch when and where you want to watch it.

You can be the Star

We are still accepting challenges, but I do have a few suggestions to increase your odds of being selected. Be clear about what body of water you want to fish. Of course, we are looking for a great body of water with lots of giant fish – after all what fisherman doesn’t want that. However, we want to cover the entire country coast to coast, and we realize that some places don’t have that option. Let us know what body of water you want to fish and give us some information about it. This will really help your chances to be selected.

Another thing that will really help your chances is to make a video. We want people of all types in our shows, and showing us a bit of your personality and who you are will help us make good selections. We’d love to fish against every challenger, but that just isn’t possible.  Your video doesn’t need to be production quality – a simple phone video will work. We are more interested in what’s on the video, than how the video is made. There are many ways to share your video – upload it to social media and share the link, tag BrentChapmanFishing, and be sure to send us the link in the challenge form on Brent’s website.

We are excited about Pro vs. Joe and we want to share the experience with as many of you as possible. Of course, its a costly venture to make it happen, so please support our sponsors when you are looking for products they offer. Realtree, Plano, Frabil are main sponsors and are the reason we can make this show happen.

That’s it for September, we’ll have another update in October after we’ve done some more filming. For now I am headed out to the farm to start prepping for the upcoming hunting season. Remember to wear your lifejackets and kill switches and take someone fishing!

See you on the water,
